A gentle pause from the pace of everyday life. These one-day mini retreats are an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and return to yourself through movement, stillness, and deep rest, all held within the beautiful setting of The Wild Spa in Polzeath.

What to expect
We begin with a 1 hour yoga flow to open and ground the body, followed by 15 minutes of meditation and 15 minutes of breathwork to calm the nervous system, regulate energy, and create a deeper sense of clarity and ease. The experience then flows seamlessly into 1 hour of sauna and cold plunge, supporting circulation, releasing deep tension, and gently resetting the nervous system through the powerful contrast of heat and cold. You leave feeling restored, spacious, and deeply renewed.

Set Intentions & Reflect
If you feel inspired after the practices, you’re invited to bring a journal and stay a little longer. You can spend time unwinding in one of the chill out areas at Wild Spa, settling into a hammock, reflecting on the experience, or simply noting down anything that feels present. A gentle space to land, integrate, and set any intentions you want to carry forward.
What to bring
• Comfortable clothing for your yoga practice, something you feel good moving in
• Swimwear for the sauna and cold plunge
• A small towel to sit on and a towel to dry off afterwards
• A water bottle
• A journal or book if you’d like to relax in the space after the experience
We will take care of the rest. Yoga mats and props are provided, but you’re very welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
If the weather is kind, we may practice outside, so bring sunscreen. As Cornish weather can be unpredictable, it’s also worth bringing a few extra layers just in case.
